*1 year later*

"Sis Melokuhle....Thando wet the bed again!"

"Hawu!....why are you waking me up in the middle of the night?!...I've got an early shift mhan!"

Ever since my parent's accident..it has been hell, I quit university...because I had to fend for my family.

And my mom hasn't been making things any better since we couldn't afford the special care she needed...Aunt Thembi takes care of her for us and she's not expensive at all...although she's very demanding.

I carried her to the bathroom disposed of the clothes she was wearing and changed her...we don't have soap and water to waste...besides she'll bath when she goes to pre-school.

After that I carried her back to bed..

"Mpilo...scoot over...Thando has to sleep"

I pushed him aside and laid Thando to sleep...look at her sleeping like she didn't just ruin my sleep..

I look at mama and noticed that she also wet herself...tears were threatening to come out of my eyes but...for my sibligs I have to be strong.

I took a wet towel....wiped her carefully and changed her clothes...and kissed her forehead..."I love you mama".

As I was about to go to sleep when scelo barged in smelling like a distilery...

I just looked at his face full of scars....I didn't think he would turn out this way...I thought he was our big break and that he would help me through this but he dissapointed me..

"Scelo...did you use the money for the bread?!"

He then sent the most jaw breaking slap I've ever had in my life...my own brother..laying a hand on me!

I looked at Thando...she looked so terrified...when did she even wake up!

"Thando go back to sleep mhan!"

"I said go back to sleep!!"
